David and Lesley Sapsed’s Heathrbow herd claimed its second consecutive English National Show championship title, this year held at the Royal Norfolk under judge Michael Robson of the Kilbride Farm herd in Northern Ireland.

Their victor was Heathbrow Duchess, an April 2012-born Dirnanean Welcome daughter out of the Dirnanean Telstar sired dam Heathbrow Waikiki. She carries a TPI of +91 and SRI of +100 and went on to stand interbreed Continental female champion and overall interbreed champion.

She then paired with the male champion, David Donnelly’s Lisglass Barnabus to win the interbreed pairs championship.

Also for the second year running, the Simmental team secured the Colemans Cup. This year the group consisted of Hayley and Andrew Clarke’s Williams Malvenas, Williams Emily and William Eleanor and they were joined by David and Lesley Sapsed’s young bull Heathbrow Xfactor.

Congratulations to all South East club members: Heathbrow, Broad Reed, Boards Head, Swallowhill, Ravendale, Beetley, Williams and Key, who contributed to a fantastic show of cattle.
